While choosing an email and collaboration application on the cloud, business enterprises must consider one very important factor - disk space occupancy.

With single instance storage, an email with an attachment marked to multiple recipients within your domain is stored only once. Pointers are maintained for all other recipients, thus saving huge storage space.

This policy is applicable only for newly received emails i.e. emails that you will receive after enabling single instance storage with Cloud Zimbra. It will not be enforced for historically migrated data.

This feature of Cloud Zimbra saves disk space and eventually will help you save costs.
